Dr. Neel Thakkar is a Senior Consultant specializing in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and has over 9 years of experience. Dr. Neel Thakkar began his medical journey by earning his MBBS degree, followed by advanced training with a DNB in Pulmonology, DTCD, IDCCM (PD Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai), and the prestigious  European Diploma in Respiratory Medicine (EDARM) from Paris. He has also completed the Executive Management Program in Healthcare from Darden School of Business, University of Virginia, USA.

Dr. Neel has a keen interest and expertise in evidence-based medicine, non-resolving pneumonia, complicated and Drug-resistant Tuberculosis, ARDS, respiratory failure, chronic airway diseases, sleep disorders, and complex critical cases. Being a strong advocate of academics, Evidence-based, and Ethical medicine, Dr. Thakkar has numerous international and national publications in peer-reviewed journals to his name and is an assembly member in the European Respiratory Society assembly on Lung Infections and Sleep Disordered Breathing and an Executive member in the Indian Society of Critical care medicine, Vadodara  Chapter and Society of Respiratory Medicine, Vadodara.

Dr. Neel was one among the invited as an author for 'Point of Care' solutions by Elsevier India for  Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Being a strong advocate of community health initiatives for society, Dr. Neel Thakkar is currently the Chair of Young Indians Health, YI Vadodara chapter which leads numerous causes for empowerment of the community towards positive health initiatives.
